I recently had the chance to review the Snails nail polish with my girls, Willow and Guinevere. They loved the colors that were sent, Lollipop and Raspberry Pie.
The first thing I noticed was the cute graphic on the front of the bottle and the promise of sparkle in the nail polish as well!!!! We opened the bottles and found no overwhelming scent that usually accompanies a bottle of nail polish. Snails polish actually has a sweet smell. I applied the nail polish to the girls fingers and toes. These two colors were pretty sheer, but no worries because they dried pretty quickly even after the second coat! This is an extra plus in my book because Willow is only four and she dislikes having to stay still for very long.
The girls were happy with their sparkly nails!
Now this eco friendly nail polish is washable and came with a wipe in a package for removal. However we are a frequent hand-washing family and by dinner time the girls nail polish had worn off. Only I noticed though the girls didn't notice and never seemed to mind. Their toes stayed polished for another 24 hours, then in the shower with them and it was gone. Again the girls didn't notice.
I really liked the polish, it was fun for my girls, I didn't have to worry about it spilling or getting rubbed on their faces, in their hair, or on their clothes while it was still wet. And I don't have to worry about removing chipped and flaked off nail polish to reapply :)
This would also be the best polish for them to practice painting their own nails. Guinevere, being 6 tomorrow (!), wants to paint her own nails and I let her a couple of weeks ago. However she didnt put the cap back on properly (not Snails) and later Willow came through and knocked it over and it was everywhere! I had to dump my specialty nail polish remover, that I had just purchased for my polish, all over the stain and scrub it out!
With Snails I would never have to worry about that!!!!

So the cost is the same with more ease of mind! Snails would also be my choice for sleepover parties for the girls that way if any parents minded their kid's nails being painted it would come right off!
